Janet Szczepanski, PT, MHS

Janet earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Evansville and a Master of Health Science with a neurologic focus from the University of Indianapolis. A retired Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy at the University of Evansville, she taught content specific to clinical education and the examination and treatment of patients with complex medical and neurologic conditions. As former Director of Clinical Education, she worked with talented clinicians throughout the United States, Jamaica, Australia, Italy and Mexico to develop clinical learning opportunities for PTA and PT students. The American Physical Therapy Association credentialed Janet as a Clinical Instructor Trainer in 2002, She has assisted 1,000 healthcare professionals who mentor students in clinical settings to plan and prepare successful learning experiences. Janet maintains an active clinical practice with expertise in geriatrics and treatment of adults with neurologic conditions.

M. Lynn English, PT, MSEd, DPT

M. Lynn English, PT, MSEd, DPT

Lynn is an Associate Professor and Director of Clinical Education for the University of Kentucky Doctor of Physical Therapy (UK DPT) program in Lexington, KY. She has been a UK faculty member for 18 years.  She is a graduate of The Ohio State University, University of Kentucky and Simmons College. Her interest in international clinical education has led her to establish internships in Australia, Hong Kong, Italy and Belize, along with service learning efforts in Ecuador. She has participated in training clinical instructors as an American Physical Therapy Association Credentialed Clinical Trainer since 2007. Teaching interests are in adult neurological rehabilitation, clinical education and PT care of under served populations.  She coordinates Samaritan’s Touch UK Student Physical Therapy clinic, providing pro bono care to individuals without access to physical therapy.

Brett Windsor, PT, PhD, MPA, OCS, FAAOMPT

Brett Windsor graduated as a physiotherapist from Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia, in 1994. Prior to coming to the US, Brett worked in sports medicine in Australia and the United Kingdom. Brett became APTA board certified as an orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS) in 2000, completed the NAIOMT Clinical Fellowship in Manual Therapy in 2003, and graduated to fellowship in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (FAAOMPT) in 2004. Following eight years as assistant professor at DPT programs with Pacific University and Campbell University, Brett moved to Chicago where he is currently the Chief Clinical Officer with ATI Physical. Brett was the lead instructor of manual therapy at the Fondazione Turati rehabilitation center in Gavinana, Tuscany between 2007 and 2011 and he has since traveled extensively throughout Italy in support of continuing teaching activities and clinical education. Brett’s research interests are clinical reasoning, spinal manipulation and the validation of the manual therapy clinical approach to evaluation. He holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Portland State University and a PhD from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah.
